Terms of Service

Effective 22 August 2026

shanframe ("the service") lets you connect devices you own or administer and use them from your other devices. By creating an account or installing the agent you agree to these terms.

Your account

You sign in with GitHub. You're responsible for the devices you link and for anything done through your account. Keep your devices' access revoked when you no longer trust them (Sessions & machines → Revoke).

Acceptable use

Only connect devices you own or are authorized to control. Don't use the service to access other people's machines without permission, to violate law, or to route abusive traffic (spam, attacks, infringement) through our relay. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your data and content

Sessions between your devices are end-to-end encrypted; we cannot read them. See the Privacy Policy for what we store.

Payment

Free accounts include a limited number of machines. Paid plans are billed by Stripe, monthly or yearly, and can be cancelled anytime from the billing portal; cancelling stops future charges and your machines keep working within the free limits. Founding-member pricing stays in effect for as long as the subscription remains active.

The service is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep it reliable, but the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time (Sessions & machines → Delete account), which removes your devices, keys, and account data and cancels any subscription. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
